Returning To Our Roots: Lanzarote Lifestyle Shoot

Publicado por Elizabeth Harwood en

Our founder, Liz, lived on the island of Lanzarote for many years, its striking landscapes became a constant source of inspiration in her work as a painter.

Over time, these visual influences evolved into something more. The textures, colours, and forms she found in Lanzarote’s raw, sculptural environment began to appear in her art — and eventually laid the foundation for FAMARA’s golf clothing designs.

A lot of our collections — from prints to colour palettes — is rooted in that early connection to the island. Lanzarote shaped not only Liz’s creative approach but the entire visual identity of the brand.

This February, we returned to the island for a lifestyle photoshoot, bringing our team together to shoot our latest and upcoming FAMARA collections, in the place where the brand began. The volcanic landscapes, soft golden light and black sand provided the perfect dramatic setting to showcase our new designs and to honour the inspiration behind them.

The resulting imagery is bold and distinctive, capturing women golfers in a way that feels both powerful and authentic. It reflects everything we stand for: strength and confidence - on and off the course.
