The Inspiration
Over the last two years, FAMARA has established itself as a leading sportswear brand residing at the forefront of ladies golf wear. Our HQ is in Southern England where we create timeless designs for women that have a passion for style and adventure. FAMARA Ltd was founded with the intention to design ladies golf wear that linked traditional feminine styles with sustainable performance fabrics and designs inspired by contemporary artwork.

Humble beginnings
The FAMARA team strive to entwine the glorious heritage of traditional ladies golf wear with the advantage of modern performance fabric. The vintage photograph of her mother playing golf in a Jean Muir belted cardigan, long pleated skirt, stylish brogues and a headscarf, inspired Liz to explore the fusion of vintage and contemporary designs, and pour colour and femininity onto the fairways.
The Vision
With a strong ethos for women supporting and naturally inspiring each other, FAMARA collections are designed by women for women. The Golf and Active wear collections are timeless and suit women of all ages, shapes and sizes. The cut and style of the garments flatter the wonderful curves that make up a woman.
The Brand
Named after Famara beach in Lanzarote, our elite golf and active wear takes inspiration from it’s beauty and popularity for water sports, running and yoga. Women that surf Famara beach are women that inspire others through their determination to push the boundaries and led to our “Be The Woman” strap line.

Feminine & functional
Our Core collections use recycled breathable moisture wicking fabric, individually sourced to meet our requirements. Seeking always to create feminine collar designs, and colourful prints, they fuse traditional classic styles with performance and sustainable fabrics. Working with our community we produce two “FAMARA” collections every year, and one Limited Edition “FAMARA Signature” collection.
Golf collection
Our Golf wear collections aim for feminine flattering styles and bold prints in traditional colour-ways. Each story carries a hint of art, whether bold, or discreetly hidden in the folds of the garment.
Active collection
Our activewear is applauded for the structured yet buttery feel of the leggings. Available in four lengths featuring a high line flattering waistband that is timeless.
