It’s with huge excitement we announce that FAMARA is now stocked with Gals On and Off the Green stores, Pittsburgh and Dallas! Having launched our collections at the PGA show 2022, we were blown away by the enthusiasm of some of the buyers and delighted when Jackie stopped by our booth for a chat!
A few months later and in late May 2022, we shipped our first collection out to the stores in Pittsburgh and Dalls, and now on July 1st we’re now able to announce our partnership! We’re hoping the customers embrace our shared vision to bring style and pizazz to the fairways with FAMARA’s unique art inspired golf apparel and the amazing reputation of Gals On and Off the Green.

I decided it was time to start a new career and began writing business plans – a flower shop, a gift store – and of course, a lady’s golf boutique. I found myself spending more and more time on the golf boutique business plan….and it took almost two years to develop a credible plan, source supplier partners, secure financing and find a location – and in June of 2004 Gals on and off the Green opened its doors in Pittsburgh PA.
It did not take long for us to discover that we were not actually selling women’s golf apparel – we were simply helping women become more confident with what they were wearing! We quickly realized that no matter how successful in her career – or how beautiful her family – or how accomplished in golf or other aspects of her life – women do not like what they see when they look in the mirror! They immediately go to their flaws instead of their goodness! So we began to take a very high touch, highly personal approach in working with our customers!

When Jackie and myself (Founder of FAMARA) started chatting on zoom, we discovered our shared passion supporting the ethos “women supporting women” and the knowledge of how looking good out there, helps your game! We created our FAMARA collections to look great when they are worn out for lunch or when they are worn on the fairways!
