We’re proud to share that FAMARA partnered with the fast-growing sport of Fling Golf this June, sponsoring and outfitting both Team USA and Team Europe at the second official Britain’s Cup, held at Iford Golf Centre in Dorset.
We created custom kits for both teams, reflecting the essence of FAMARA: luxurious technical fabrics, eye-catching prints and an emphasis on comfort and movement. The feedback from players and spectators alike was incredibly positive, with many praising the comfortability and unity the kits brought to the competition.
“Just as snowboarding disrupted traditional skiing, Fling Golf is reshaping how we think about the game of golf,” said Paul Barran, who leads the UK Fling Golf community at Iford Golf Centre.

What Is Fling Golf?
If you're new to the sport, Fling Golf offers a fresh alternative to traditional golf. Players use a single, specially designed club to fling the ball—creating a faster-paced, more inclusive style of play.
It’s already proving popular, particularly in the US, where over 20,000 players are now enjoying Fling Golf across more than 2,000 courses. The format appeals to golfers and newcomers alike, offering a modern, energetic way to experience the game.
This year’s Britain’s Cup was even featured by ITV Meridian News, a great moment of visibility for both the sport and for FAMARA’s role within it.
“The players loved how the kits looked,” said FAMARA founder Liz Harwood. “But more importantly, they felt like a team. That sense of confidence and identity is at the heart of what we do.”
